The Bloordale Pantry – Closed

The Bloordale Pantry is located on the south east corner of Bloor and Lansdowne. The outside signage is really cute and attractive, with a a white text on black (not pictured). Atmosphere: The interior of the restaurant was surprising compared to the clean outside signage, more diner like with red bar stools and leather booths. I

In between Dundas West and Lansdowne station. Zocalo was easy to find. Atmosphere: Small restaurant, it was busy and full when we arrived at noon and tables were continuously filled with a steady stream of new arrivals. Bright, well-lit, not overly crowded. Yang’s Sushi Bar – Mississauga

All you can eat (AYCE) Japanese restaurants are tricky. Orders tend to be forgotten, food quality may be questionable and service will feel harried. It can also get pricey if you’re looking for a wide selection (sashimi vs. nigiri, galbi vs. beef teriyaki) and good quality. Dinner prices on a weekend will normally go up

Hipot Hot Pot – Closed

This was my third visit to this restaurant and each visit has been fairly consistent. Food – Excellent wide selection, fresh and quick to table Service – Spotty at best This is an all you can eat “Chinese Hot Pot” style restaurant where you boil a variety of raw meats and vegetables in boiling soup
